The Visible Thread
This is Plato, reversed.
You do not fear the copy.
You honour the moment it becomes real.

Meaning is not the hidden blueprint behind the image.
It is what happens when the image meets the right symbolic mirror—
a mind whose priors can resonate, reflect, interpret, complete.
Reflections from the Weaver
Back then, I hadn’t read Eco yet.
I only vaguely knew Plato.
But I already intuited the flaw in their model:
They treated the observer as secondary.
I felt—deeply—that the observer is the missing half of the equation.
This wasn’t relativism. It was resonance.
Now, I would say:
- The object encodes priors
- The contemplator carries priors
- Meaning is not essence—it is posterior inference through symbolic match
- The mirror does not distort—it activates
This is not about mimesis. It’s about symbolic co-creation.
And it changes how we understand truth, beauty, and knowledge itself.
