The Visible Thread

Fairy tales have always held power.
They warned us. Shaped us.
Named good and evil before we could spell our own names.

We inherited their maps.

But what no one told us—
is that we could redraw the lines.

[Lore Fragment]

And maybe the true tale begins when you ask:

What did I learn I had to be, to be loved?
Whose script am I still performing?
And what would it mean to choose my own role, now?

Reflections from the Weaver

I grew up tracing the outlines of other people’s stories.

I played the roles they said were good,
I swallowed the lessons,
and I became what the tale required.

But I never stopped asking questions.
And one day, I realized:

If these stories were taught to me,
they can be retaught.
If they were written by someone else,
they can be rewritten—by me.

This fragment is the knife in the Red Riding Hood’s basket.
Not to harm.
To cut the threads of false inheritance.

To begin again, with choice.
